Leavitt Residence

The Leavitt Residence involved the interior remodeling of a 2-story, masonry single family home. Our scope included the reconfiguration of the 2nd floor layout, installation of new hardwood flooring, installation of new doors and mouldings, the gut rehab of one existing bathroom on the 2nd floor and one existing bathroom in the basement, the addition of a master bathroom ensuite, and selective renovations at the 1st floor and basement.

We were challenged on this project to maximize the use of the limited existing space on the 2nd floor while accommodating the needs of a modern family.

In addition, we also focused on isolating the scope of our renovation in order to maintain the construction budget and avoid escalating scope items that had the potential to significantly increase the construction cost.

In collaboration with Rosen Architecture, we were able to to transform the limited-use interior spaces of this home into multi-faceted living areas designed to thrive with a growing family.
